The last build of the 2012 alpha run, capping a year that raced from 1.0 in July to 1.4 on New Year's Eve. Nothing else came until 1.5 in 2015.
At about 10 MB it loads quickly and is the richest of the pre-1.5 alphas.
How Banned from Equestria 1.4 compares to 1.5
1.5 expanded the gallery and added the Derpy and Goodbye Equestria content, but removed the +3 day book reward that 1.4 had.

1.4 introduced More Bullshit Mode and a +3-day reward for returning Trixie's book. 1.5 kept the gallery, expanded it, and added Derpy and the Goodbye Equestria scene, but dropped the +3-day book reward. 1.5 is bigger; 1.4 is the interesting last stop before it.
